Napoleon, Constant's Wife And The Stolen Fortune: Who Really Rules Us?
A Noble Servant: Marchand And Napoleon's Exile Days
Napoleon Bonaparte tried to conquer the whole world twice and failed both times. He was exiled to the island of Elba and he escaped from the island the first time. He had a servant named Marchand, who was also his best friend at the same time. He was by Napoleon Bonaparte's side throughout the whole process. They went to both exiles together. Why did England allow him to stay with Napoleon? They thought like this: "We, as the British Empire, are a noble nation." Noble British people do not allow a general to do basic household chores like cleaning, folding laundry, or sweeping floors. These worthless tasks must be done by worthless servants. In their eyes, Marchand was a worthless servant and accordingly they allowed him to stay with Napoleon Bonaparte. This was normal for Marchand. He washed Napoleon's feet and changed his bedsheets. He talked to him like a psychologist, a brother, a friend, and a servant.
The Weight Of Being An Emperor And Society's Expectations
Napoleon focused on conquering all of Europe, including Russia, and escaped from Elba and went to France. What was his first action? To go to war again even though many soldiers would die on the way due to a lack of food and safe shelter. The freezing weather would make statues out of Napoleon's soldiers. He failed again and again, lost his soldiers again and again, but he never stopped. If you are Napoleon, you must fight, you must start a war! Because your traditional family, your traditional government, and your friends from military school tell you that you need to fight. According to the current rules of the world, you must be stronger than others. You must think that your own nation is the best. In this case, if you can be an emperor, it clearly means you deserve it! This is not a criticism of Napoleon; this is our way of educating our own children. Napoleon was a very compassionate man despite the education he received. For example, everyone thinks his servant Marchand was just a staff member—every servant is a staff member—but Marchand was Napoleon's best friend. To be honest, this is an observation and a deep idea. I mean, there are some major negative events and some breaking moments in history. And if you are an emperor and wake up early and say "I am going," this is not a sudden decision. The people around you will ask, "Why are you going?" In this case, you can answer like this: "I have my circle, I have family relations, and maybe I have some problems and concerns about surviving. Therefore, I have to go." Yes. And the reasons behind your decision are these whether you confess them or not, and whether you are an emperor or an ordinary person, your anxiety is the same: Will I be able to feed my stomach, will I be able to sleep in a safe housing, and will I be able to live among a group of people who will treat me well?
Constant's Wife And The Hard Decision Made: Exile Or Betrayal?
Constant was a friend and servant of Napoleon, and he wanted to serve him wholeheartedly during Napoleon's powerful times. But when Napoleon was going to be sent into exile, Constant wanted to stay in France, and although it was offered to him and furthermore going with Napoleon in such a situation had been discussed and agreed upon between them before, when the time for exile came, he did not want to go with him. He had two important reasons for this. First, Constant had a wife. Her name was Louis Charat, and she did not want to go into exile with Napoleon because she was living a very comfortable life even though she came from a family serving the empire in France. Constant's wife did not want to go into exile. When the time for exile came, Napoleon asked the people around him: "Who will come with me?" Constant's wife did not want to leave her wealthy life to go to a small island with Napoleon. She thought this was a very dangerous decision. If she went to the exile island with Napoleon, she would have to abandon her wealthy life, her family, and her safe home. The second reason was the fear of a lack of food and safe shelter. Yes, this is the second reason behind Constant's attitude. Constant had received 100,000 Francs from Napoleon before the exile, and Napoleon had said, "Keep this money; if things go bad, we will be able to escape thanks to this money." Constant buried this money, which was worth a fortune, in the garden of the Palace of Versailles. He dug the soil, put this money inside, and covered it. Constant never gave this money back to Napoleon again. Why did Napoleon give this money to Constant? Because Napoleon thought that if the British sent him to an exile island, maybe he could use it to escape from this difficult situation, and he thought he could only trust Constant. But unfortunately, Constant stole this money from Napoleon. Yes. Constant escaped from the palace and Napoleon went into exile on the island of Elba.
The Three Basic Needs And The Influence Of Our Environment On Us
This subject is very important in terms of my main topic. I mean, this subject is related to the three basic needs. Constant wanted to guarantee the first two basic needs: food and safe shelter. And Napoleon also wanted to guarantee these two basic needs. However, neither of them had the third basic need. This need is the most important one among the three basic needs. The third need is the "love your neighbor as yourself" education. People who do not grow up in an environment with the "love your neighbor as yourself" education are not considered to have a full will. Because they naturally enter into competition among themselves for food and safe shelter. This is called experiencing absence within abundance. Abundance increases when trust is built among people; the moment we want to eat more than our neighbor or live in a better house, competition comes into play. Even huge emperors like Napoleon cannot escape this. The second subject is Constant's decision to steal this money from Napoleon. But he was not alone when making this decision. There were some people saying, "You are a smart man, you need money, you should not give this money to Napoleon." Who were they? One of them was his wife. At first, you watch some television channels, some social media accounts... In the very beginning, you feel that this is a very interesting channel. This is a very interesting news story. This is an interesting short video. Maybe it is a viral video. As a matter of fact, they are all like Constant's wife. They show wars in the video, they show that war is very bad, that many people die, and that the economy is getting worse. They show cats and dogs, they also show rich people and luxury travels. However, when you watch these videos, this social media, these news stories, you are influenced by these perspectives. Your thoughts and your feelings change according to the things you watch, according to the people you talk to. Whoever you become friends with, whoever you spend time with, you start to look like them. Generally speaking, Constant was influenced by his wife and his environment. And Napoleon was also influenced by his environment. They said, "You are a perfect emperor. You are very strong." And Napoleon started to think so too. He thought, "I can fight with every European country, including Russia." He thought like this, but he had a doubt.
Media, Manipulations And Choosing Our Own Observer
From my perspective, Napoleon's attitude and Constant's attitude are very similar to each other, because they lacked the three basic needs: food, safe shelter, and the "love your neighbor as yourself" education. Simply put, if you watch other videos on YouTube, Facebook, or Instagram, and more importantly, if you read books about nationalism, religion, communism, or any ideology, undoubtedly, you will be influenced by those books and other types of social media. Up to that point, you can choose which platform, which article, or which book will influence you. You can choose my article or a cat video. But then, maybe you want to try different types of social media platforms, books on different subjects, and short videos. And you can continue to watch these platforms, channels, and ideologies, but you need to think about them. If you do not think, it will harm you. In an instant, you will have bought a product that you do not need at all. Actually, when you think about what is the best thought for me, you get one step closer to finding your true friends. You can decide which idea is the best for you only by thinking. However, the media continues to share some joyful and very bright things. Even if you make a sacred decision like I now want to work to guarantee the 3 basic needs for all humanity, and you become friends with people who have the same purpose as you, they will continue to share these colorful things. On the other hand, you will struggle to stop watching these bright things. Is this true? Yes. It will be very, very difficult for you. In reality, Constant and Napoleon sought security. They sought security according to their own eras. However, there was a media, that is, an environment they chose themselves, that deceived them, prevented them from making the right decisions, and constantly deluded them with bright scenarios. They were influenced by their environment and their "social media" according to their own times.
The Recipe For Salvation: Small Groups And Our Sacred Purpose
Surprisingly, they both thought of the same plan. What was the plan? To escape. Basically, to escape from their countries and their people when things went bad. And we cannot criticize Napoleon or Constant; if there is no guarantee for the three basic needs—food, safe shelter, and the education about the meaning of life—everyone will behave like Constant and Napoleon. How can we save ourselves from a bad environment? How can we build trust among us? Therefore, we must guarantee the three basic needs within a small group. Only five or ten men or ten women should be best friends and hold on to the same common rule. This rule will be "love your neighbor as yourself". Therefore, they must decide to live with this main goal in secrecy. Without a main goal, they should never watch other videos or read other books. What is the main goal? We can use every material, every video, and every desire to guarantee the three basic needs. For example, I use illustrations, historical events, and animations to guarantee the basic needs of all humanity. But if I watch them only for myself, only as a joyful entertainment, this will be a bad habit, selfishness, and a very low level for a human being. There is no point in selling paintings anymore, in making art paintings that no one will use, that they will get bored of and throw aside. Painting is not done for money, as a matter of fact, no job is worth doing for money. Our basic needs are clear, and the rest are just colorful things that should be used for the promotion of the sacred purpose. There is a very, very small group of people on earth who have this sacred purpose. But they are unaware of each other. Meanwhile, if you also think like me, please continue to watch these videos and please think about this. And if you do not think like me, you should never come here again. Okay? Because throughout this process, I do not want to bring other ideas or other ideals here and pollute the purity and value of the purpose. I have some ideas, struggles, and obstacles in front of me. Temporary material problems that look like reality. Step by step, I am learning how I can overcome all of these. Suddenly, I return to this "three basic needs" subject again, and this is our main topic. This is the main goal of the people who come here and watch my texts and videos. The meaning of life is "love your neighbor as yourself". This is an unchangeable law. If you think like this, in this case, we can be good friends. Women with women and men with men. We need some groups for this. We do not want to behave like Constant. See you in the next article!
