Is Our Body Really Us, or Just a Donkey We Were Given to Carry a Sacred Purpose?

The Beginning of the Education

In this section, we will work on a very important part of the “love your neighbor as yourself” educational curriculum.
This education begins by accepting that the bodies we have come into

this world with are like donkeys, and that we must use this donkey for the right purpose.

It does not matter whether we are rich or poor, women or men.
Our body is a donkey in this world, and it works from morning until night for food.
Some donkeys work more, some work less.
But they all share the same goal: to graze.

How We Treat Donkeys in Ordinary Life

In ordinary life, we give good food to animals like donkeys and oxen only if they carry our loads and get tired in our place.
If we no longer need a donkey, we leave it in an empty field and it becomes prey for wild animals.

The Donkey That Carries the Real Human

Our bodies are donkeys that carry our true bodies, the real human part of us, inside them.
Do not let the beauty of your eyes deceive you.
If we like ourselves very much when we look in the mirror, it means we have fed our donkey very well.
We put mascara on it, we comb the hair on its head.
At breakfast, we give it a large slice of bread covered with butter and honey.

A Necessary Clarification

Here I need to make a special clarification.
When we mistake our bodies for ourselves, and then call them donkeys, we immediately feel offended.
While writing this section, I even thought about this.
I wondered, “What if people feel offended and say, ‘Why is Pınar calling us donkeys?’”
Would I like it if someone called me a donkey?
No.
That is why, while reading or listening to this section, we must keep in mind that the word “donkey” is not directed at our souls, but at our bodies—the bodies that disturb us, constantly exhaust us, and keep tiring our souls.
My father used to call me “my donkey-eyed daughter.”
Donkeys have very beautiful eyes.
If necessary, we can think about this more deeply later.
We can even replace the donkey with other animals like camels or oxen, animals onto whose backs we place burdens we do not want to carry in this world.

Why Was This Animal Given to Us?

So what is the main purpose of giving us this animal?
What kinds of loads should we place on it so that it truly deserves all this care?
What happens to a donkey that wanders freely in the field without purpose?
Let us answer all of these questions one by one.

What Loads Should We Place on Our Body?

Assign it the duty of receiving the “love your neighbor as yourself” education, producing healthy food for everyone, and providing safe living spaces for everyone.
A body that carries this load will, over time, become your right hand.
You can dress it in a stylish blue jacket and put an orange scarf around its neck to add flair.
If you want, you can even have its portrait drawn and hang it on your wall.

The Stage Before Abandonment

Taking your body to workplaces, schools, talent competitions, concerts, sports events, and success exams that do not guarantee your three basic needs is the stage just before abandoning it in an empty field.
Only one in a million people can obtain food in these spaces that will impress everyone.
Other bodies live with the dream of this.

Why We Came Into This World

Yet you came into this world to train this body with your inner human side and turn it into a sacred costume.

What Happens to a Donkey That Wanders Freely in the Field?

This is a very common situation.
Bodies that lose their way follow other bodies that are able to find food.
A body that has already been fed and strengthened kicks the inexperienced body that enters its territory and does not allow it to graze there.
But in every case, both of them perish in the wild for a single mouthful of grass.

A Life Spent for Retirement

You can see that a large portion of people work their entire lives for retirement and for a house.
In the end, they die without being able to do most of the things they wanted to do.

What Is a Sacred Donkey?

A sacred donkey is a body that works—even if it does not want to—in line with its owner’s purpose of guaranteeing the three basic needs for all humanity.
Its owner says, “You will produce healthy food for everyone,” and the body draws projects for nights on end to build food forests.
Its owner says, “You will create safe living spaces for everyone,” and the body immediately tries to find and connect with other social media users who share this purpose.
Its owner says, “You will love your neighbor as yourself,” and the body immediately begins designing a system that will give meaning to life for all people through AI-supported camera systems.

The Transformation of the Sacred Donkey

In this state, the sacred donkey gradually changes form.
It begins to reflect the power and magnificence of its owner in every way, almost transforming into a real human being—into the owner’s true qualities.

What Happens to the Other Donkeys?

They walk on the backs of their owners.
The owners of these bodies are crushed under the weight of the donkey.
As the body is fed, it becomes heavier.
As it becomes heavier, the owner weakens and dies.
When the owner’s heart dies, the body goes to an empty field.
It has become so heavy that it cannot find the strength to wander around in search of new food.
Because it has no owner, it cannot protect itself.
It is exposed to rain and storms, filled with fear, and finds no safety anywhere.

Meaningless Loads Given by a New Owner

Another malicious owner places meaningless loads on its back:
“Go bring me annual reports.
Go bring me new clients.
Come to the office from eight in the morning to five in the evening.”
Even if the body does all of this, it is given no permanent share.
Because the new owner already has an original donkey, they use this exhausted body they found in the field only to serve them.
Thus, the helpless body works for a daily mouthful of grass and dies.

How Does One Live With a Donkey?

1 — Accepting that our bodies are donkeys, and not mistaking them for ourselves.
2 — Not allowing the donkey to climb onto our back.
(That is, not dealing with anything other than guaranteeing the three basic needs.)
3 — Riding the donkey.
(Feeding it only when it works for these three purposes.)
