What Is the Connection Between the Memory Palace Method And the Three Basic Needs?

The Flexibility of the Memory Palace And A New Beginning

The best part of the memory palace is that you can leave it unfinished wherever you want and switch to another memory palace.

That is why, if you make a mistake somewhere while building a world where the three basic needs are guaranteed, it is possible to correct it at the next hook and leave the mistake only at the point where the mistake exists.

We will do so today as well.

Let the sentences we assigned onto the giraffe illustration stand aside; we will add new English sentences onto a photograph.

Perhaps the hardest thing to learn with this method is language.

If you are memorizing something in your native language, the memory palace method will be much easier.

I placed twenty-seven sentences in total on the painting.

But I am having difficulty remembering the last part especially.

Therefore, I will repeat this part starting from the twenty-first sentence.

Mona Lisa And The Giraffe: Imagery Work For English Sentences

21. “Mona Lisa has been famous since 1503”

I placed this sentence on the eyelid of the large giraffe.

I imagined that Mona Lisa boasted about being famous in a very cool way, and in response, the giraffe found this situation meaningless with half-closed eyes.

Although only one eyelid of the large giraffe is visible here, 15 was written on one of the eyelids and 03 on the other, as if I were seeing both of its eyes.

While saying "I have been famous since the year 1503," Mona Lisa was writing 15 and 03 on the giraffe's eyelids with her red lipstick.

22. “Mona Lisa is never sad.”

I placed this sentence in the giraffe's nostril.

Mona Lisa sits inside this nostril, the humid air blows Mona Lisa's hair, and as the giraffe breathes in and out, Mona Lisa thinks, "Although I am here, I am never sad."

23. “Mona Lisa is sure about the answer.”

I daydreamed about the pear in the animal dealer's hand.

This pear is offered to Mona Lisa, but Mona Lisa's eyes are blindfolded; the animal dealer wants Mona Lisa to guess what the fruit she is eating is.

Mona Lisa is sure about the answer, this is a pear.

24. “Mona Lisa is often mysterious.”

Mona Lisa is hidden inside the sleeve of the animal dealer's jacket, thinking "I am a very mysterious woman."

She hides here often and says, "Yes, yes, I am very mysterious."

25. “Mona Lisa is available to talk.”

I placed this sentence on the animal dealer's nose.

Mona Lisa hangs an “available” sign on the man’s nose, and people come and talk to her; they have queued up to talk to Mona Lisa.

26. “Mona Lisa is aware of danger.”

I focused on the animal dealer's mouth.

Mona Lisa sees the malicious smile on the man's mouth and thinks "what an idle man."

Mona Lisa is aware of the danger; the man is not well-intentioned at all.

27. “Mona Lisa is afraid of the ghosts.”

Many ghosts are rising right behind the animal dealer, all of them terrifying.

They are wandering around the man and approaching Mona Lisa screaming.

Mona Lisa is very scared when she sees them.

Mona Lisa is very afraid of the ghosts.

The Importance of Repetition to Strengthen Memory

You should be remembering one or two of the sentences when you read them for the first time, three or four when you read them for the second time, and all of them in your third repetition.

It is normal to make mistakes in one to three sentences when a day has passed; if you read the daydreams again the next day to correct these mistakes and think about them by feeling with your five senses, you will have added them to your long-term memory.

Moreover, even if you do not want to, your brain will remember the illustration with the giraffe and try to place the sentences into the sections we numbered.

All Hobbies And Techniques Serving The Sacred Purpose

Memory palaces have attracted my attention for many years because I want to create an effective education curriculum.

Actually, this is not about language learning.

Initially, I just wanted to memorize English sentences, but later I started to worry about how I would combine this with my main purpose.

This created a sort of restlessness.

Because I was memorizing the sentences, but I could not answer the question of why I should memorize these sentences.

Then I discovered something; if I looked from the right place, everything was connected to each other; memory palaces, acrostics, sewing, painting, reading books, writing my memories, or extracting an example from history… They were all connected to each other.

We cannot reach our full potential in this world until we learn to guarantee the three basic needs for each other.

Therefore, whether you have come to copy my memory palace to learn English, or whether you are an art lover, it actually does not matter.

At the end of the day, you heard my purpose, and I claim that it is not worth living for any other purpose in the world.

If we are enduring all these difficulties and going through struggles here, the sacred law that attributes a meaning to this is unique: Love your neighbor as yourself.

It is such a simple expression that it sounds as if applying it will also be easy.

The Difficulty of Doing Something For Someone Else: The Sewing Example

Throughout the last week, I sewed a suit consisting of a vest and a skirt for a friend whom I love very much.

Sometimes I got so tired that I even thought of saying that I could not do it with an excuse, that the sewing machine I just bought had broken down, or that I had urgent work and had to postpone this sewing project.

But it was not true.

I saw that doing something for someone else, even if I love them very much, is harder than sewing a coat, a satin skirt, or a nice blouse for myself.

Economic Fluctuations And Divine Justice

Perhaps precisely for this reason, I understand that rich people have difficulty sharing in most cases.

Nothing is hidden anymore.

So much so that recently, when the economy goes bad, we see that states conduct operations against the rich, the famous, and owners of unjust gains.

People whom we see as respectable in the media when the economy is good appear before us in the media as drug addicts, traitors, or immoral people as inflation increases and stock markets crash.

At the end of the day, whoever we are, our basic need does not change: As soon as food for everyone, shelter for everyone, and of course "love your neighbor as yourself" education are guaranteed, all of these meaningless oscillations will be canceled by themselves.

When everyone possesses these, there will be no meaning left in harming others; this is called divine justice.
